If anyone has information on Paul Siefried’s sailboat please contact me. I would like to find out who currently owns it. Paul is a well known violin bowmaker who lived in Port Townsend. He was a good friend of mine and helped me with my own career of bow making and love of wooden boats and sailing. When Paul passed away his boat was for sale for a while and I last saw it for sale at the Port Townsend wooden boat show in need of some attention. I was not in a place to make an offer. Later I found out that the boat was sold and lost track of it then.
The boat is a 19’ Pete Culler designed Buzzards Bay though I have heard it identified as a Concordia Sloop. The boat was lapstrake built in cedar, oak and black locust.
Please contact me if you remember what brokerage was selling the boat, or any leads would be helpful. Maybe you know someone with this type of boat that may happen to be Paul’s boat.
