Toucan - a San Francisco Great Pelican in PT ·

Designed by Bill Short and built by Lou Brochetti in 2007, this is an outstanding build on this SF Great Pelican. Well cared for and appointed. She has cruised the San Juan and Gulf Islands and completed 2021, 2022 and 2023 Salish 100 cruises. Toucan is featured in the Mar/April 2017 Small Craft Advisor (issue 104.)

Hull - African okoume mahogany bottom ½”, sides ⅜”, deck ⅜” cabin roof two ¼” laminated
Bulkhead - mahogany
Cabin arches - spruce and Honduras mahogany
Mast - vertical grain fir
Spars - spruce
Centerboard - weighted with 100# of lead

Balanced lug with furling jib. About 4’ draft; without cb about 8”
