The Second Annual SMALL BOAT FESTIVAL
#

It’s coming on May 30-31, 2025

Following a successful first Small Boat Festival in 2024 (see some pictures here), the Pacific Northwest Pocket Yachters announce the second annual SBF will be held May 30-31, 2025, at Port Ludlow Marina.

The Small Boat Festival is a celebration of all small boats (sail, power, human-power) in the water or trailered, in the generally agreed upon less-then-25’ range. More than half of 2024’s 75 small boats were displayed in marina guest slips, while others are on trailers or grass around Port Ludlow Marina’s big pavilion tent, where SBF participants shared a Saturday evening dinner.

Registration for the 2025 Small Boat Festival will open on January 10. The registration fee of $75 will cover mooring (for two nights) or dry-land display, along with the Saturday evening dinner. Boat owners can register a second small boat, if they wish, for $50. (Two is the limit for in-the-water display, but boaters can register up to four small boats for dry-land display, at the $50-per-additional boat rate.).

Small boats will arrive and be assigned a mooring slip or upland-display spot on Friday, May 30, and the Small Boat Festival will take place all day on Saturday, May 31. The event is free for public viewing.

Additional details will be shared in this space as they come available, so stay tuned and register early since—due to word of mouth following the 2024 SBF—we expect to hit maximum capacity sooner in 2025.
